Pixie Caramel Macchiato -- For The Paper Shelter

Hello, thanks for your visit to my blog today!  Don't these weeks go by quickly?  Here we are to Wednesday, so that means it's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog. The theme this week is: Food &/or Drink.  You'll find lots of images in The Paper Shelter store that fit that theme! You can enter with any image you want, but the prize is much better if you've used a Paper Shelter image.

For this week's Food & Drink challenge, I used the darling Pixie Caramel Macchiato

I colored Pixie Caramel Macchiato with Copic markers.  I used a set of nesting dies from Hero Arts to cut out the image and back it.  The designer coffee themed papers are from AMB Illustrations.  The sentiment and die to cut it out are from Pink & Main.  Some sticky backed gems from Altenew finish off the card.

Here's a graphic explaining the prizes at The Paper Shelter Challenges.

Please join us!  I'd love to see what you create.

Two Little Mice -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Thanks for visiting my blog today!  I can't believe that we are to March already.  These years never slow down.  March 1 means a new challenge has started the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group.  The theme this month is, "Animals All Around".  I've been wanting to color up these two cute mice, so this was the perfect opportunity.  Here is 'Two Little Mice'.

I colored Two Little Mice with Copic markers.  I used two dies from a Hero Arts square die stacking set.  I created a frame with them. The designer papers are old ones from Crafter's Companion.  The flowers in 2 of the corners were made with dies by Spellbinders.  They have a best flower dies! The darling sentiment is part of a Hero Arts stamp set.

I hope you can join us this month in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group.  I'd love to see what you create with our 'Animals all Over' theme.

Guinea Pig Mom -- for Di's Digistamps

Happy March!  Here we are, one day closer to Spring.  We've had a very long stretch of cold weather where I live.  Much of January and February were well below zero.  It makes me ready for Spring!

There is a new challenge starting today on the Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  It runs for the next 2 weeks and has the theme of 'Green with Envy'.  Use the color green on your project and you are good to enter.  Use a Di's Digistamps image and you're gold!

My card for the 'Green with Envy' challenge uses a new image from the store, Guinea Pig Mom.  I used the black & white version, but there is also a preprinted version, if you prefer.

Here's my card featuring Guinea Pig Mom:

I used shades of greens, yellow greens, and blue greens through the card.  Isn't that a precious image?  I used it for spring, but I also think it would make a great Mother's Day card.

I colored Guinea Pig Mom with Copic markers.  I used a set of stacking dies from Taylored Expressions to cut out the image, back it, and make the shaped card.  The sentiment and banner die are from Pink & Main.  The designer papers are from Crafter's companion. The enamel dots are from my stash.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog today and I really hope you'll enter our challenge at Di's Digistamps.  March is all about green!

Spring Hugs -- a New Release for All Dressed Up Stamps

Hello, and thanks for stopping by today!  It's time for some new release inspiration from the Dressy Girls.  All Dressed Up Stamps released 3 images this month.  I had the honor and the fun of crating with Spring Hugs.  It's so sweet!

You can find all the new released in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop or Spring Hugs here

I colored up Spring Hugs with Copic markers.  I did some searching to find the papers.  They are some old Crafter's Companion papers I've had tucked in a drawer for years.  The dies used on this card are all from Taylored Expressions.  The sentiment is from a Pink & Main clear stamp set.

Check out the All Dressed Up Challenge blog and the ADU FB group to see all of this month's images and inspiration.

With Love -- for The Paper Shelter

Greetings, and thanks for visiting my blog today!   It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter.  New challenges start each Wednesday, and run for a month. The theme this week is 'With Love'.

I thought one of the coloring books from The Paper Shelter would have a perfect loved theme image, and the Flowers Coloring Book had many images that fit the theme. I used this image from page 6 of the book:

I colored this Flowers image with a combination of Olo and Copic markers.  I used a clear stamp from Waffle Flower for the sentiment, and cut and backed the image with dies from Spellbinders. A few gems from my stash finish the card.

The graphic below explains the prizes you could win from The Paper Shelter:

I hope you can join us this week at The Paper Shelter challenge for our 'With Love' challenge.  I'd love to see what you create!

Have a Mice Birthday -- for Di's Digistamps Challenges

Hello!  Thanks for visiting my blog today.  I hope you had a great Valentine's Day yesterday.  Nothing too elaborate here:  just a day with my sweetheart husband and my sweetheart dog.

It's time for a new challenge at Di's Digistamps challenges. The challenge that starts today will run for 2 weeks.  The theme is 'Circles Everywhere'.  We'd love to see you use a Di's image, but it's not a requirement.

I used the darling image.'Have a Mice Day' for the circles challenge:

I might have gotten a bit carried away with the 'circles' theme, lol!

I colored Have a Mice Day with a combination of Copic and Olo markers. I used cutting dies from Hero Arts to cut out and back the image.  I also used the set on the sentiment (computer generated).  The circles paper was found at Digital Scrapbook.  I made this into a 5x7 card, inking the edges of the digital paper with black ink to draw the eye inward.

I hope you will join us this week at Di's Digistamps Challenges. I'd love to see your take on the 'Circles' challenge.  You have 2 weeks to join us!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Passion for markers -- use red &/or pink
I Spy with my Little Eye -- something with feathers or fur

Coffee Break -- For The Paper Shelter

Hello, and happy February!  Thanks for visiting my blog today!  Challenge #624 is starting at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  The theme is 'create your own background'.  You are free to use any image, but using a TPS image makes for a better prize if you win the challenge.

For today's challenge I used the image Coffee Break II.  Isn't she adorable?

It must be the dreariness of winter that is making me reach for bright colors.

I created the Coffee Break II image using Olo and Copic markers, then fuzzy cut her out.

The background was creating with watercolor markers by Altenew on watercolor hot press paper by Ranger.  The sentiment is from Pink & Main.  The dewdrops are from my stash.

Here's a graphic explaining the prize structure:

I hope you can join us this week at The Paper Shelter challenge for our 'create your own background' challenge.  I'd love to see what you create!
